I do not see it the same way you do.

Try to imagine if the government knocked on your door and said a UN declaration

said a bunch of people scattered all over the world was going to move into your

town, and so you had to evacuate now.

The people who moved in said you could have a section of the town for yourself,

but they were going to take the best land as theirs.

As you sit there trying to figure out what to do, they are liquidating your

belongings and bulldozing your house.

You complain about it but no one listens. You watch your standard of living go

long, and your mom get sick. Both of you get hungry. The more you complain, the

more you are called a terrorist in the making. The new occupants start

swaggering around your neighborhood in military regalia, and people less calm

than you are throw rocks at them. The soldiers shoot them dead. Some other

people get upset about it and shoot the soldiers.

Now the town government calls you all a bunch of terrorists.

You all demand a state of your own with the same rights you had before these

people moved in, but instead, they start building houses on the land you have

left and tell you that you will take what they give you or you can leave the

town.

No one else will take you, because they agree with you, but no one has guts

enough to tell this new town government to get lost, and they know that if they

do, other, larger governments will back the town.

So you are screwed no matter what you do.

That is how you see it.

But to answer your question, if some Mexican drug kingpens started shelling

people on the US side of the border, I'd bomb them into oblivion.
