This stuff is making a comeback in the US as well. It might be coming time once against to spray with DDT now and then to beat down the mosquito populations again. They have been unbelievable around here this year, including some new species that is several times the size of the usual mosquito who bite doesn't go unnoticed like the others because it bloody well hurts.
