Listmates and Friends...

In the big scheme of " life with Autism " this plea is as minute as it gets....

But many of you know my " work " for the last several years has been the

website, www.TexasAutismAdvocacy.org.

It is information, resources, and support for parents and professionals, by

parents and professionals. I am merely the one behind the computer typing it

all in.

All I know by way of resources for parents in Texas - I try to put on that

website. What I dig up, what parents and professionals send me, etc.

The Texas Disability Network Calendar of Events,

The online Resource Guides, etc.

It's all GONE. Apparantely the web hosting company neglected to inform us

that they are going out of business - and when we found this out - it was too

late. We tried to switch to another hosting company - pay all those fee's -

and we were successful - except that we need one teeny tiny code from Infinology

to be able to complete the transfer and we can't get it; nor can we even contact

them.

We still have a year left on the contract - but yet " my baby's " gone and we

cannot get in touch with Infinology to find out anything.

I'm sure you understand how beyond blooming bonkers I am right now! Like I

need this as much as I need triplets with autism going through puberty!

It'd probably wouldn't sting as bad if I actually got paid for all those

zillions of hours doing that website - but I didn't! And OUCH this is

frustrating!

Please - if you are a praying person - please PRAY that we find SOMEONE to

help us figure out how to get that site back! At least long enough to get it

transferred!

It's out there in cyberspace - but we can't find a way to contact anyone at

Infinology to give us that code we need to transfer it to another hosting

company!

I can't believe they just dropped off the planet - there must be others who

have used that site to host their websites!

Until we get that mess sorted out -- we bought www.TexasAutismAdvocacy.net and

will work on transferring the back-up files to that site temporarily.

Anyway - some of you have e-mailed asking why they can't access

www.TexasAutismAdvocacy.org -- and that is why.

We don't know what's going on and can't find anyone at Infinology to help us!

Sincerely,

M. Guppy

" There are some aspects of a person's life that we have no right to

compromise. We cannot negotiate the size of an institution. No one should live

in one. We cannot debate who should get an inclusive education. Everyone

should. We cannot determine who does and who does not get the right to make

their own choices and forge their own futures. All must. "
