Jordan says one blast hit its city of Aqaba, injuring four people. A series of explosions were heard early Monday in Eliat, a popular tourist destination on the Red Sea. Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld confirms that the blasts were caused by rockets, but says no one was injured in Eilat. He says police are searching for the source of the fire. Jordan's Information Minister Ali Ayed says one rocket hit on a main street in Aqaba, injuring four people. He could not confirm their nationalities. It was the second such attack this year. Israeli media outlets are reporting that five rockets were fired at the city, landing nearby in the Red Sea. No injuries or damage were reported. In April, remains of a rocket were discovered in the waters near Eilat. Eilat is a popular domestic and international tourist resort. Militant attacks in the area are rare.
