Whey question

Hello,

I just pulled my jar of Whey out of the refrigerator to make ketchup

and there was a lot of pressure built up in the jar. Also, it is

fizzy. Is this normal? Is it good still? As far as I can remember, I

haven't noticed this with previous batches of whey (I've only made 4 or

5 batches so far though). I made it 6-20-05 and NT says it should last

up to 6 months right?
