Recently, work with skinned segments of human muscle fibres showed that the specific tension of the fast 2B fibres is approximately 50% greater than the slow type 1 fibres. " If this is the experimental setup in which a muscle fiber is tied in a benchtop dynamometer, it's called " fibra muscular isolada " , or, possibly, " estudo com fibras isoladas " .
