Guest guest
Dear list members, I wonder whether anyone knows how to say this in Portuguese in a medical context? " Until recently, scientists thought that running out of glycogen caused 'hitting the wall', the severe muscle stiffness and pain that occurs in many runners between the 18th and 25th miles of a marathon, causing them to work much harder to maintain pace. " Then: " Runners can protect their muscles against 'hitting the wall' by doing eccentric training once a week, repeat bursts of running downhill very fast. " Any help will be most appreciated :-) Many thanks in advance! Love and sunshine always, Cássia Nasser :-) xoxo galore!
