Guest guest
For whatever reason I couldn't sleep tonight, and a couple hours ago I added revisions to the cholesterol and statin pages on wikipedia. The statin information was totally one-sided about how statins, despite initial concerns that they cause cancer, have shown to prevent cancer, and absolutely nothing about coenzyme Q10 inhibition. So under the section about non-cholesterol effects, I added #5, that they inhibit all isoprene synthesis including coenzyme Q10. I also added an entire section entitled " Controversy " to the cholesterol page in which I described how the role of cholesterol in atheroma is controversial, and discussed Ravnskov's work, THINCS, and the Alzheimer's issue. I then added my page to the bottom section " external links " and fixed a link to WAPF that referred to it as the Weston A Price Society instead of " Foundation. " So a couple hours later now, EVERYTHING I did has disappeared!!! EXCEPT, the fixing of the WAPF link. But my link is gone. The cholesterol controversy section is gone. The sentence about statins interfering with coenzyme q10 synthesis is gone. The paragraph about how some researchers still believe statins contribute to cancer is gone. It looks like the revision I did to the CoQ10 page will stick, and they have so far. Which indicates to me that someone is WATCHING the statins/cholesterol page. It really looks like the whole thing is done up by some pro-statin schmuck, and I'm wondering if someone's paid to sit there and edit the page or something!
