I have more than this- if you'd like to see it, I'd be glad to send you what

I have. If someone else wants a copy, e-mail me and I'll send it along.

Anyone is welcome to forward it to someone who might benefit from it.

Thanks, I will take anything you have. I had done research in the past

but that was prior to my WAP involvement. I have tried the B6/unisom

regimen but it never worked for me. During my last pregnancy I was able

to find some relief using the homeopathic Ipecac and Nux Vomica during

the first 12 weeks. I was stubborn and told myself I was not going to

take the Zofran until after the critical first 12 weeks. Well I made it

but the DAY I was 12 weeks I started taking it. I had hit the major

down ward spiral about 2 weeks before. I had begun enema hydration

therapy and was vomiting up to 50 times a day.

I felt success from this (not sure why) but in my previous pregnancies I

had to begin Zofran via IV by the 7 week mark. I LOVE the plan you have

laid out.

I need to write up my plan so that the moment I receive the 2 pink

lines...we can get right into action. Since we are a QF family, this

could be any month. LOL

Blessings,

Sorry, I forgot what list I was on...I shouldn't have use the abrev....

QF - Quiver Full. It is a term used my some Christian for those who do

not believe in using birth control. They believe in leaving their

fertility up to the Lord.

It comes from Psalm 127: 3-5. " Behold, children are a gift of the LORD;

The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,

So are the children of one's youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver

is full of them; They shall not be ashamed, When they speak with their

enemies in the gate. "

, What does QF mean?

What about raw liver as a source? Do you know what levels of B6 it

contains? Just curious.

As a pharmacy student, I want to add a few points about OTC

anti-nausea meds to KerryAnn's excellent overview.

Unisom tablets are doxylamine, but Unisom gelcaps are diphenhydramine,

aka Benadryl. Both are antiemetic for most people, but doxylamine is

the one that's been specifically tested in combo with Vit. B6.

Cyclizine (Marezine), meclizine (Antivert) and dimenhydrinate

(Dramamine) are the other non-prescription antihistamines with decent

anti-nausea/anti-emetic activity.

Most OTC antihistamines are FDA pregnancy category B, or " Animal

studies have failed to demonstrate risk OR Animal studies have shown

an adverse effect, but adequate and well-controlled studies in

pregnant women have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus in any

trimester. "

3 ounces of raw liver has about 1.216mg B6. The USDA is 2mg. For women

with HG, 300 mg/day is recommended. As you can see, it's virtually

impossible to get that level from food.

My HG has kicked in, and it's early! I got sick for the first time last

night.
