Elaine, With me when the gluten went the constipation eased. Raw dairy issue then with ball shaped constipation, so it was gluten and casein. Pretty convinced I can digest and keep the processes going uneventfully with high protein, fat and limited carbs. Apple and avocado daily biggest helpers. Rereading some metabolic typing the other day they recommend HCL only for carb types. It seems they found slow metabolizers respond to or need the extra. Gas is the too many or wrong carb sign.
