Guest guest
Hello all, Now that I am no longer consuming pure sodium salt, I seem to be able to eat quite a bit! Actually, last night I badly oversalted my beef bone broth (although it was still good, it was kinda ocean-y). My illness of 1-2 weeks went away the same day. I had been eating broth through the illness, just with not much salt at all. Anyway, This brings me to the questions: How much sea salt is too much sea salt? Are there any other nutrients (other than magnesium, which is already in sea salt) that I need to take along with sodium salts? Now that I finally understand how important salts are: I'm thinking of taking up salted baths (which I do occasionally) and gargling with salt. Can you have too much external salt? Can salt water be used as eye drops, ear drops or nose spray? Thanks! -Lana
