Guest guest Posted November 23, 2005 Report Share Posted November 23, 2005 I was previously considering purchasing an air ionizer to produce clean air in my bedroom, but realised that you cannot be too sure of what you are getting. What they say on the box is not always what is produced by the machine, so I have now discovered salt lamps! They also create negative ions (if you don't know -ions are produced in fresh air and when you go to the country, +ions are produced in cities where pollution is abundant) without the need for any machine - just an electrical outlet. Check this site out for the US http://www.natural-salt-lamps.com/ And there are plenty in Australia too. Some Health food shops stock them as well.
