Guest guest
Dear all, Roxanna Eleanor was born at home on Dec. 8 at 3:16AM. She came 2.5 weeks before her " due " date and she's perfect. She's much smaller than I expected her to be (6 pounds, 6 ounces) but she's gotten " perfect " health scores from the midwives and pediatrician. She's a voracious eater and has a beautiful round face, with a wide nose and dental arch. I'll post a picture soon. As a side note, I had a relatively easy labor (pushed her out in 16 minutes flat, the average pushing time for first time moms is 1-2 hours). No drugs and not much blood loss either. Healing has been almost pain-free. Thank you to everyone on this list for all of the advice and encouragement I received during my pregnancy--you are collectively an amazing resource and I feel so blessed to know what I know.
