Guest guest
--- Sugar and oil/fat both contribute to crumbly cookie. Try removing some and if batter is too dry add a small amount of milk or milk and water to get necessary batter consistency. I'd probably try removing some fat first. Remove approx 20% at a time.Dennis In , Siemens <mandamom2many@g...> wrote: > > I tried making these about a year ago. I used coconut oil and they were very > crumbly, could hardly eat them. Guest guest
Easy answer: more eggs in the batter! Tom Siemens wrote: >I tried making these about a year ago. My useless and grossly overdue recommendation is to make them with chocolate if you're going to make them in the first place. <g> -
Guest guest
Want the ugly truth? I DID make 'em with chocolate!! (but it WAS the carob-chip cookie RECIPE) LOL. Actually, once they cooled they were fine. I did learn we do NOT care for the taste if they are kept in the fridge, so I keep em out figuring they are going to be eaten fairly quickly anyway LOL.
