Carl,

Good article...somewhat. At least they are beginning to acknowledge mold is a legitimate health concern. Duh! But they continue with the "we just don't know enough about illness, so let's just clean up those buildings" stance. They continue to rely on the IOM report of 2004, that has nothing in it researched after 2002. Glad to see some acknowledgement that our illnesses are not just a result of lifelong psychological conditions, but I am getting damn sick of the we don't know enough to treat and that is why ACOEM is skeptical. That is total BS. ACOEM is deceitful in their stance that these illnesses "could not be", based on a rat study and some math.. and it is this industry friendly stance that causes the denial of MUCH that is known of these illnesses.

Watch the below video from the Senate yesterday. Go to about 2:14 minutes. It is Barbara Boxer nailing some courtroom defense experts over asbestos, for their testimony not including disclosure of their industry ties. She nails one of them for not disclosing that she is testifying outside of her field. Seems the good PhD attempted to deny this and got caught. The other guy never wrote anything on asbestos until 2005. Voila! Instant expert. Sound familiar? Same game. Different day.

Not only are the buildings sick, but people are sick and they need medical treatment, not delays and excuses that are financially motivated.
