Dear Colleague:

Greetings from Dalian, China!

This is to inform you that the First International Conference on Building

Energy and Environment (COBEE) 2008 to be held in Dalian, China has been

rescheduled to July 14-16, 2008. The change is required by the Chinese

government to avoid air traffic congestion around Beijing area due to 2008

Beijing Olympic Games from August 8-20, 2008. This change will avoid high

airfare due to the Olympic Games so that it is rather beneficial. On behalf

of the organizing committee, I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience

caused and hope you can still come to Dalian in July 2008. We really

appreciate your understanding for something beyond our control.

COBEE 2008 is specially organized to provide a platform for discussing

energy and environmental issues and for forming collaboration among building

engineers, environmental scientists, architects, facility managers, and

policy makers. It is also to provide a forum for addressing the challenges

and opportunities we are facing by the collaboration between developed and

developing countries.

 Please note that the abstract due date, November 15, 2007, is approaching.
