Guest guest
I have problems when my son goes to sites like cartoon network and others like that (that have the kids games). My pc crashes if he goes to these sites, I have to connect another hard drive to use virus removal software. I get lots of trojans, spyware, and adware. So the short answer is Subject: OT: anyone else having this comp problem? To: Autism_in_Girls Date: Thursday, July 17, 2008, 11:51 AM Hey all, hubby built me a new computer. Within a few weeks my firefox and Microsoft Explorer were locking up constantly, particularly in Yahoo mail, Yahoo boards, etc. Fri-Sat, can't remember, it crashed on me one night, he put in a new hard drive to see if it was a virus or not. I've not uploaded AOL, myspace, or any other instant messangers. I only go to known sites like pubmed, Yahoo, I do go to my myspace site, and sometimes others, like if an article is posted on one of these boards. I never open email that even looks suspicious, much less click on downloads, always from yahoo.com. The girls do go to Crayola.com, webkinz, and a few other kid sites. Craig thinks it's still a virus but he has virus protection software on here. I think it's a motherboard issue. Didn't know if some of you have similar problems, maybe is a Yahoo problem??? Just frustrating, I can't upload any of my chatting software, get my photo software uploaded, can't view things on youtube, etc. TIA, Debi

Guest guest
On site you noted going to, that I always seem to get issues with my computer after going to is MySpace... I don't know how others go there so much and don't have problems but my husband will start me off fresh with all brand new install of everything and updated virus protection etc. And then if I go check out my teen daughter's MySpace page and browse around there. Generally if I ONLY go to her page then I'm ok, but once I start clicking around and checking out the pages of her friends to see what they're up to and try to have the whole picture, then I find my computer freezeing and locking up not long after. If I stay away from those sites then I do great for months and months and months. I don't know what it is about MySpace but it definately seems like the culprit in my situations Theresa > > Hey all, hubby built me a new computer. Guest guest
Are you running Windows XP and have recently updated it with the service pack 3? Often windows will automatically update so you don't know it has done it until the problems start.
