As for making the formulas that is pretty easy. Send me a offline note and I will be happy to explain. Unfortunately while the ingredients are listed the ratios are not. As far as lobelia, I think you are out of luck. If Dr. Schulze, who is not at all impressed by the FDA, doesn't carry it, then you will probably have a very difficult time finding it, unless you pick it yourself. But you might want to check out www.pacificbotanicals.com. Maybe it is less hassle selling it as a dry herb and not as a tinctured formula. Guest guest
Sam Biser (www.sambiser.com) did tons of interviews with Schulze years ago and at one time published the formulas in his newsletter. I had some of them at one time but don't any longer. I'd love to get a copy of those as they had some really great detailed info not found elsewhere. I have Biser's " Save Your Life " Course which are video interviews w/ Schulze plus 3 big manuals of transcribed interviews with Schulze and others. All tinctures are basically made the same way--you put the herb in the solvent, usually 80-100 proof vodka (which is just alcohol and water) or sometimes apple cider vinegar or a sometimes a mixture of both. You simply blend the herb and solvent in a blender and put it in a jar, enough herb so that when it settles it is 3/4 herb. Shake daily (whenever you pass by it.) Schulze says to start it on a new moon and harvest on a full moon. Strain to harvest. If the herbs are fine, I let them settle and pour off the tincture. Lobelia tincture is easy to make. Lobelia seed pods are the best/strongest but they are very expensive. Lobelia herb with some seed pods is more reasonable. Both are available from Pacific Botanicals (Schulze recommended). Lobelia is extracted best in a mixture of 1/3 apple cider vinegar and 2/3 vodka. I have gotten asthma in the spring and Schulze's lobelia formula totally handles it. But I've needed it less and less (only twice this spring) and I think it's due to my eating more butter and coconut oil and fermented foods. Where does he provide information or formulas to make your own stuff? I'd love to make the lobelia to keep around the house for my asthmatic husband.
