Guest guest
> i'll chime in. soaked rolled is gummy, soaked steelcut is nummy. totally. This is how I'm doing it right now, which seems to be helping both my blood sugar troubles and my oldest girl's gut problems. I'm putting whole oats on to soak around noon with a couple of slices of raw ginger. Before we go to bed I drain them, add new water (about 4 or 5 to one) and cook them all night in a little crockpot I have. In the morning it's PERFECT. It doesn't even need milk, I just put a big pat of butter on top. Spelt and brown rice also do well treated like this. When we wake up it's all ready to go, and my husband can have breakfast without my waking up to fix it.
