Oh, well, maybe it's an aquired taste. Remember I eat anchovies

right out of the can too! But most people like my kefir beer ...

it isn't as strong or as sweet as malta. The name " malta " does

imply malt ... but the stuff I got was from Cuba, so maybe they

just used what they had on hand (lots of molasses in Cuba!)

to make the same-named drink.
