Anyone near Frederick, MD, USA and Co-housing available

Hi,

I will soon be moving to outside Frederick, MD and

would like to know if any like-minded eaters are in

the area, and also, where do you get your products.

Also, my husband and I are moving to a co-housing

community there called Liberty Village and would like

to attract some like-minded folks, especially young

If you are not familiar with it, co-housing is a

wonderful way to maintain the privacy and comforts of

modern life while increasing the community feeling and

interaction with neighbors so frequently absent. It is

an unusually warm, caring, safe place to raise

children. In this case, it is a village of duplexes

connected by pedestrian paths and sharing common

green-space where residents share dinners once or

twice a week (on a voluntary basis) and make decisions

by concensus. Co-housing is designed to attract people

who want to know and interact with their neighbors and

lend eachother a helping hand once in a while, more

like old-fashioned neighborhoods used to be.
