red bumps on back of arms

This list seems to have knowledgeable folks who enjoy learning and sharing

so I thought I'd give this a try.

A few years ago I discovered little red bumps all over the back of my

upper arms. I may have always had them, but I never noticed before.

Sometimes they seem like an ingrown hair and sometimes like a zit. (I

confess, I'm a picker.) But I think there has to be some explanation... a

food allergy of some sort? Anyway, wondered if anyone has this (I've

noticed it on lots of people) or has any thoughts on what it may be a

symptom/cause.

Thanks,

melanie

I've heard it's caused by vitamin A deficiency. CLO & bright yellow

butter time!

All the best,

I had the bumps for years as well. A few months on cod liver oil (I

use 1 tsp Blue Ice daily) and they were gone. I don't know the actual

amount of time it took for them to disappear -- it's just that I

happened to look a few months after starting the CLO and they were gone.

Gosh, I had those things half of my life! Every doc I asked was

clueless (some even prescribed steroid cream & thought sure that would

just clear up any " rash " )

Finally, on my first visit to my ND I mentioned them & he immediately

told me after 2 months on clo they would be gone- guaranteed. He said

they are typically vitamin A deficiency, but can also be EFA

deficiency.

It sure worked for me! Take some CLO & enjoy the smooth skin again!

When I was going through a candida yeast overgrowth problem I was on a

message board where a lot of people complained of just that thing. I had the

bumps to. I don't know if that's the cause of your problem but I know that,

for me, cutting out all sugars and starches for about 6 months did the

trick. The bumps disappeared after about the first month...

Just my 2 pennies...

Hi ,

I have this as well. Well, it's mostly gone now. Mine has been

clearing up since removing grains and dairy from my diet completely.
