Greetings All,

My name is Jim . My wife, , and I are starting a goat dairy 35 miles east of Colorado Springs, CO. We named our Dairy Hi Plains Dairy. We belong to the share program that is legal in the state of Colorado. I found out about the share program from Colorado's Health Inspector, when I was investigating the variables of starting a Grade A Dairy.

My wife is presently an RN, of 16 years, and wants to get out of nursing and back to the country life. She grew up on a cow dairy, started by her grandfather, in Mead, CO and has drank raw milk all her life. chuckles, when she remembers sitting in nursing class at the University Of Northern Colorado, hearing about the dangers of raw milk consumption, & knowing, that very morning, she had been a heavy consumer.

Unlike I didn't have the benefit of growing up on a dairy. I started consuming raw milk in the early 70's, when I was the owner of a couple of fitness centers in Longmont & Greeley, Colorado. It was a simple time, in those days, I would just go down the street a few miles and visit a local dairy and purchase raw milk.

Needless to say and I are strong believers in the benefits of Raw Milk.

Happy Holidays,

Jim &
