Guest guest
Alice, EM stands for Effective Microorganisms or Efficient Microbes, etc. It contains several different beneficial microorganisms. You can use it for everything from fermenting, to composting, to odor " eating " ,to health tonics, to preserving, cleaning, etc. The only thing I've done so far is start a Happy Farmer Composter and use the EM diluted for doggie smells, cleaning bathrooms, mold, mildew, etc. I hope to make an extension soon and experiment with health tonics. Here are a few links with some info. There are also a couple of devoted to this topic. EM health and EM ag.
