Guest guest
The thing about homeschooling. I don't get all these people who think homeschooling makes one socially-innept. Every kid I've met who has been homeschooled is far more confident, assure of his/her values, and have high work ethics. If NT kids who are schooled in this manner seem to have this outcome, it only stands to reason to me that kids with autism would have similar outcomes. It never ceases to amaze me the stupidity of people. Debi
Guest guest
Since beginning homeschooling my daughter is happier to socialise. I think that because she doesn't have the everyday pressure of trying to fit into school she is more confident and happier within herself. > > The thing about homeschooling. Guest guest
I would never trade home-schooling in for public. Even with my childrens issues, they are lifted up not torn down. They have a self-esteem, they believe in themselves ( as much as possible) Alot of which they would lose if in public school. I been home-schooling about 4yrs now and love every minute of it! Goodluck to all of you that have your kiddos home! --------------------------------- You rock. That's why Blockbuster's offering you one month of Blockbuster Total Access, No Cost.
