I am presently reduceing my predisone every month and am now down to 1 mg. I ache all over but I want desperatly to be off it. My liver #'s have been great for 8 months now. So from that stand point I can come off pred, but the joints are so painful, and i have these intense pains up and down my legs all day worse at night. I am even reducing my 6mp down to 100mgs. Has any one had leg pains? I jump in baths all night long only to get about 5 minutes worth of relief.I hope I get a response, I have written in the past but never heard back from anyone. Am I doing this right by hitting reply after reading?Pat in NY I don't remember seeing messages from you before, but I might have missed them. Sometimes people don't get answers because no one has a useful response to make. If you ask something I don't know much about, I won't write back -- I'll hope that someone else can give you a good answer. Re leg pain -- I don't know much. I remember having leg pains, but I don't remember when, don't know whether they were connected with Prednisone reduction. I know others have commented on joint pains that they believed were linked to Prednisone reduction, and I believe I've read about that, but I don't remember where. I know this isn't a good answer; I'm writing mostly to make sure you do get some sort of response this time. Best wishes. Harper
Guest guest
Has anyone heard from Jerry Fox? I think of him often. He was so kind to us, and he didn't always get kindness in return. The problems didn't involve any current members, of course. I hope he and his family are doing well. If any of you speak to him, please tell him hello from me.
