She is a college-mate of my parents and on a recent visit here to Maine she became my WAP convert :-) She is great - she eats pretty much whatever I tell her too, unlike my parents. LOL! (but they follow my general recommendations). In any case, she's in her late 60's, overweight and until about a month ago didn't eat much red meat at all. She's off simple sugars now and feeling a big boost in energy. I know very little about what causes high blood pressure and would like to send her some suggestions as to what to do in terms of dietary and lifestyle changes. Her doc wants to put her on meds for this, but my friend is looking for my help first with dietary changes before going that route. Any suggestions would be *greatly* appreciated!
