Guest guest
Hello again: In the same newspaper (see my previous post on Ayurveda) a man by the bizarre name of Gilson Chveid Oen claims to be an expert in what he calls Dimensional Engineering. He says he has developed a method for weight reducing based exclusively on mantras, with no need for diets and physical exercise. This is what he says [forgive my mistakes in translation]: " In our unconscious there are files which I call chambers. Those files are filled with ancestral experiences that operate like a collection or library of memories. The letters of the alphabet are the keys to reach those chambers. I am sure that experiences become beliefs by a process of repetition, and the same applies to names which are not simply aesthetic adornment. According to Dimensional Engineering, problems like overweight and anxiety don't necessarily originate from life traumas, but rather from belief systems. So we have the so-called hunter's syndrome, which belongs to chamber # 1 in the unconscious; the propensity for getting fat comes from the hunters' need to have a slow metabolism in order to be able to survive in the times of food scarcity. The more a hunter ate, the more energy he would be able to store for starvation periods. This is a reminiscence of our ancestors that was kept and filed in our unconscious, and that is the way our body is used to function. In order to change this situation, we need neutralize it with the help of a code, or in other words, a mantra. The mantra [which is created for each individual from his/her own name] helps to burn calories more quickly and after the sixth day, the body realizes that the importance of food is not that big. In two or three months, the effects of the neutralization become intense, and only those who really have a very slow metabolism will need to follow a special diet. " He goes on to say that he once weighted 120kg (about 210 pounds) before he found the method and gives a few instructions on how the mantra is to be used [repeat it 10 to 15 times a day, for instance]. The method can also be used to cure other ailments and problems, such as Attention Deficit Disorder and Sexual issues. I found this interesting, though the connection between overweight and the ancestral hunter's need to store fat and energy doesn't seem to be a novelty. The novelty is the use of neutralizing mantras. What do you think? Mr Chveid Oen tells about many successful results for his clients. He has a website gilsonchveidoen.com.br, but for the time being it is only in Portuguese. Soon, English and Spanish. Cheers, José
