Thanks! LOL about the replies being about Viagra.

I wonder if oil should be used to pop the amaranth. It isn't mentioned

there.

They describe a dry-popping method, try that the first time.

You have a cast-iron pan, I hope? What I would do is get the pan

really hot, till the test kernals pop. I'm curious how long it will

take. Might be a whole lotta oil-popped flavor goodness to shine up

the pan with some saturated fat and see what comes of it. I'm

guessing very easy on the oil, tho, as the grains are so miniscule.

It sounds fun. Please report back.
