It isn't mentioned > there. , They describe a dry-popping method, try that the first time. You have a cast-iron pan, I hope? What I would do is get the pan really hot, till the test kernals pop. I'm curious how long it will take. Might be a whole lotta oil-popped flavor goodness to shine up the pan with some saturated fat and see what comes of it.
