Superstring theory is much like wave theory versus particle theory for

electromagnetic radiation. But rather than a wave, it's a filament of

energy - if you will - that vibrates in different patterns, which when

the right harmonic is reached, produces the various particles, according

to the theory. It's like a particle unification theory. In calculus,

we deal often with equations that represent more than the 3d that we can

graph. Superstring theory holds nine (or ten in M-theory) spatial

dimensions + time. It only means that our existence is but a mere trace

of a much larger existence. I like it. Apparently, it might be

testable, but I always wonder how when we and are instruments are stuck

- it seems - in Einsteinian space time.

But yes, the complexity and variables in dealing with life forms just

blows me away in terms of ever figuring much out on a biological level.

Add in corruption and special interests and how can we ever expect to

gain anything in terms of knowledge? That's why I keep it basic and

focus my efforts elsewhere. I find what works for me and remain

skeptical in general. If you can handle/love the math, physical science

is much easier to deal with.

What is interesting to consider is that if there is more out there

dimensionally speaking, then claims of faith healing, super

consciousness and the like may have some merit. It's just that we are

stuck (perhaps) in a lower awareness and can't ever find tests for

them. However, hasn't hypnosis been totally thrown out for its non

science, and suggestive approaches?
