I'm > 53 and so if you're 50 you might be experiencing similar hormonal issues. > Anyway, if you haven't already, you might want to give the Ross > program a shot... > ~Robin Robin, several years ago i read her book the Diet Cure...it was pretty much what i was doing at the time anyway...which was www.radiantrecovery.com. i DID do the amino acids...and for the first winter in my life i had no SAD and felt fantastic. but my understanding is that the aa's are to jump start you til protein can do the job...you're supposed to eat a lot of protein at each meal but with food it takes time for the natural aa levels to build up, hence the pills which are more instant. i really should pick up the Mood Cure...been meaning to read it. laura in nj Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
