Guest guest
It's more than likely the Rhogam shot in many cases, rather that the fact that the mother is Rh (-) The babies of Rh (-) mothers born between 1968 and 2003 could have been exposed to as much as 10.5 micrograms of mercury per shot. It has been demonstrated that mercury in a mother's body can be passed to her fetus. Mercury accumulates in the umbilical cord blood at a level that is 1.7 times higher than that in the blood of the mother. Ditto for flu shots. > I think someone asked us this before. Guest guest
Yes, that probably is true, but doesn't add up in my case. With my son, who is perfectly normal at 3yrs, I had the Rhogam shot twice during my pregnancy do to bleeding. I think that some kids are just genetically more susceptible than others. Who knows.... Guest guest
Exactly. No two children are alike, so how can we expect to give the same drug in every pregnancy and get the same outcome? We can't. That's why it burns me up when I hear moms say to me, " Well ALL my kids are vaccinated and their all FINE, so vaccines can't cause harm. " Meanwhile, this one mom who just said that to me has kids with severe milk and peanut allergies and asthma. I told her MY daughter can drink milk and eat peanuts just FINE, so that proves milk and peanuts can't cause harm. > Yes, that probably is true, but doesn't add up in my > case. Guest guest
Well, my dd father and I are both postitive blood types, I was a " young " mom by today's standards early 20s, her father was 9 years my senior, I didn't get the flu shot but I did have gestational diabeties. Where that puts me in the stats? I don't know. D22@... wrote: You know, my daughter is almost 13, and I've seen this topic come up over and over again in different web groups through the years. Nothing conclusive ever seems to come of it, because those of us who aren't RH- don't really respond to the question and there are too many people who just like to listen but aren't comfortable speaking up to get a realistic count. I wonder, do any of us know of a concrete study of the percentages that's been done? Was the percentage of RH- mothers actually elevated above the norm? Maybe it's another of these factors that may someday be identified as a subgroup of effected people. I've heard all kinds of theories as people search for " the cause, " older mothers, older fathers, RH-, flu-shot during 1st trimester, gestational diabetes, etc. Sandi In a message dated 3/31/2008 6:49:22 A.M. Guest guest
Considering that (age 13/autism) is my 5th CHILD....And me being RH- and received the RhoGam with ALL 5 children and even after they were born if their blood type was positive, I would have to say that the BEANS ARE OVERFLOWING!! Guest guest
My theory is that most Autism Cases are Genetic. and that there has to be some underlying Gene that otherwise would not be there that has to be triggered... either in utero or out. I beleive my daughter's Autism was triggered in Utero... possibly by my Rhogham shot. whereas my second daughter I got the Rhogham twice and shes ok... because she doesnt have that trigger. Guest guest
And how do you know how MUCH " thimerasol " was in your daughter that has AUTISM compared to your other child's RHoGam? We dont know because it could have 5 times the amount due to being the last in a batch. It has happened before. Shanna ('s mom) > > > > > I think someone asked us this before. Guest guest
Ok, so how many of you would still get the Rhogam shot if you were to get pregnant again? I am asking because we will probably get pregnant again in the next year or so. I don't know what to do? Also, is all of the mercury out of the shots? My last two hasn't had there shots yet, but I still want them to have some when they are older. Just spread out over time. My father is a PA and he is soooo upset that they aren't immunized. It has gotten to the point that I am not to discuss it anymore with him. -Rebekah --- joans_java wrote: > And how do you know how MUCH " thimerasol " was in > your daughter that > has AUTISM compared to your other child's RHoGam?
