Thanks for mentioning rabbits. I have a question about eating them, especially from Texas. My local fish monger was telling me that consuming rabbits was dangerous because of some disease that you could catch, even after cooking the meat. This surprised me because rabbit is a long-time Southern food. Does anyone know the veracity of this idea?
