Guest guest
Gordon, THANK YOU for this information. I've been discussing these very issues with other friends and family who question our use of raw dairy vs just using organic. This will help reinforce our discussions. I appreciate knowing there are others who are fighting for this information, and our rights, to be upheld and our voices heard! Guest guest
click the link in the initial post to see some photos of the industrial compound called a " farm " . An image is worth a 1000 words. Cows confined hock-deep in liquid manure is not my idea of " organic " The more one get hard data on these topics, the more one realizes that Americans are conditioned to consume images

Guest guest
Anyone have a teeny tiny bulk tank for sale? I know they make them in Europe or South Africa, but can they be purchased in the U.S.? If anyone has made one, can you send me a pic? Thanks! Rose

Guest guest
it seems to me that technically organic means natural. Well apparently 'shit' is natural. So I guess in their thinking they are an organic farm. people suck. Darlene Got a little couch potato? Check out fun summer activities for kids. Guest guest
and how many cartons of meat and eggs say "all-natural" on them and they suck? plus some of those products with high-fructose corn syrup say the same thing.... oh, that reminds me, an old friend of mine has chickens in a couple of those large houses that are common around NC. She says that technically they are "free range" since they aren't in cages per se??? eek. deb
Guest guest
sure corn syrup is natural it comes from sugar cane right? Yea and manure is natural too... My 13 yr old with no prompting from me is starting to eat less processed foods. Part of it is she wants to be a Vet and can't stand hurting animals. Well I am trying to be truthful with her about the reality of farm life and her position as a vet. she doesn't think she will have to do the gross stuff or have to hurt an animal .....anyways she is sorta a vegitarian....but at this point still eat ham sandwiches and pizza bites. I have decided to allow her to eat however she wants as long as it is healthy. I have even had her buy her own groceries. this forces her to learn how to budget, to think through her choices and to see that opinions have consequences and how to make informed choices concerning her beliefs. anyways it is quite an adventure trying to teach natural versus the 'party line' you see in commercials Choose the right car based on your needs. Guest guest
Ah, yes, the " Charlotte's Web " years. If you can make it until she's past 15 then things will get better. They must read " Lord of the flies " or " Catcher in the Rye " about then because they get more pragmatic about the food chain. I saw an old episode of the Carradine show " Kung Fu " in which a native American holds to the heavens a large fish he has just killed and thanks the fish for the life that he has given that the warrior might live. I wish our culture was more connected with its food and grateful for what's involved. Good luck. Langlois darlene wrote: > sure corn syrup is natural it comes from sugar cane right?
