We are very, very sorry to hear that you are sick. Please join this group and hopefully you will at least find a sympathetic ear here.God willing you will do okay. Get good medical help. No doctor should be unaware of the dangers of mycotoxins. To start, look up aflatoxin (aspergillius, penicillium) and ochratoxin (aspergillius, penicillium) on PubMedat http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi

You will get THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of hits. Many, many animal studies. (they can't study this on humans, its illegal)As far as carcinogenicity, genotoxicity, teratogenicity, mutagenicity, (sp?) there are many mycotoxins in these families and others that are known carcinogens, cytoxins, kidney and liver toxins, etc.. Some aspergillus species also have ergot alkaloids in them that cause gangrene, maybe heart disease, maybe many other things. Like in the Middle Ages when people thought witches were causing them. The carcinogenicity is measured and a known quantity. The thing that they keep trying to say is that there is no credible research, but they are lying... Lots of research, lots of evidence.. lots of lies..BTW, people in moldy environments absorb mycotoxins through skin, they inhale them, they ingest them. They live in them.

They are potent in very small quantities and the molds can sometimes produce substantial quantities of them.Who are they kidding?Look, we all have kidney issues.. we all have liver issues.. its one of the things we all deal with..

You will get a lot of tips here. Best to get a good doctor. Do you know about cholestyramine?Check out http://moldwarriors.com and

http://chronicneurotoxins.comIf you tell us where you are somebody here may know a good specialist in your area. Hang in there...On 1/9/07, Andy Bazan

Does anyone know of any credible research or information regarding mould exposure (including penicillium) and kidney damage.

Thanks in advance,
