I'm about as reluctant to patronize doctors or use abx as anyone (well, anyone short of a Christian Scientist, anyway <g>) but there are occasions when abx are necessary. They should ALWAYS be accompanied and followed by abundant probiotics and probiotic foods, though. -
Guest guest
I am reluctant to use antibiotics as well but I do sometimes. What I usually do is go to an MD to get a diagnosis and a prescription if that is what they recommend. But I don't fill the prescription. If I use my home remedies and the problem goes away fine. If not then I go ahead and fill the prescription. Most the time I don't fill it but once in a while I do. Having said that, you do have to be especially careful about systemic infections. They can be quite nasty and spread quickly. You say the lobe is swollen and hard, that is really not a good sign. So if were me, I would take her to the doctor right away to see what s/he says, especially since the alternative stuff doesn't seem to be working so far. If she develops a fever I would take her the emergency room (not kidding). Irene At 06:39 AM 2/9/2005, you wrote: >Does anybody else feel the same way about Medical Doctors and >antibiotics?
