Guest guest
, Master of Leptin, I've got my copy of Mastering Leptin ordered, but in the meantime, I'd like to ask a question, if you've got a sec. I read your summary (very helpful, btw, thanks for taking the time to summarize) and a few summaries of the Mastering Leptin Rules that I founding while googling. I've been taking a probiotic and some clay first thing in the morning and right before bed because that combo helps immensely in keeping my gut problems in check so that I can sleep through the night. Does this " count " as eating? IOW, do I need to wait 5-6 hours after probiotic supplement to eat my next meal. And, is it okay to go longer between meals than suggested, leptin- wise? I don't want to go into starvation mode, but when school starts, some days I can't be back at home to eat so I would end up going 7-8 house between meals. And along the same lines, do I need to eat/sleep at about the same times everyday to keep the leptin cycle working right? TIA, Katy

Some kinds of supplements are best taken on an empty stomach, and even s suggests taking a little alcar (acetyl l-carnitine) right before bed. Eating is a snack or a meal, that's all. >And, is it okay to go longer between meals than suggested, leptin- >wise? Regular eating and sleeping patterns are definitely important, but I'd guess only vital for people with really disturbed metabolisms. The important thing to avoid if your schedule causes problems is eating too soon before bed. With 7-8 hours between meals, it sounds like on those days at least you'd best have two meals rather than three. -
