I thought that tinned tuna was OK to eat for this reason, because the young tuna is used in tinned tuna???

Fran Mc Cullough in The Good Fat Cookbook recommends tongol tuna which is smaller and olive oil packed. Most groceries carry it under the Genova brand. Trader Joe's has it too. I'd been avoiding it for years, but recently began eating it again.
Guest guest
, I haven't been on the lit for very long, so not sure what sort of recommendation you are looking for. The Tuna that I get in Olive Oil (in Australia) is Sole Mare brand. I think there might be another brand too. Takes me ages to find one in olive oil when they've sold out. I've just restarted my diet this week and I wouldn't make it if I didn't have tuna to fall back on as a snack.
