I used to have a 15 cubic ft one but gave it away when I moved. I recently bought a 7 cu ft one. I have a " mixed quarter " of beef but could probably put in a half. I'm going to buy a lamb to split with a friend so I'll add half a lamb and I think that it will still have room for some chicken parts. Anyone know how much half a lamb weighs? And what breed is best? I am getting lamb from a spinner so it will be a crossbred Lincoln/Cormo this time. She says that it is not a meat lamb so will not be as " fatty " . Of course not grain fed. I don't know yet if it will be male or female - all her ewes throw twins and she just has to cull the herd. Connie H
