Guest guest
Lynne, What meats are you eating? Chicken and Beef are pretty lean compared to lamb and pork. I'm always hungry if I'm sticking to mostly chicken and beef. I appear to need lamb at least twice a week, preferably much more. I am also trying to track down a good source of duck, which is also very fatty. How do you prepare your veggies? I find broths are very rewarding, and keep me feeling pretty full compared to the veggies alone. I also tend to go more for root veggies in the winter. (Beets, Celrey Root, Turnips, Parsnips, etc) I don't completely cut out carbs. Actually, one of my favorite appetizers is fermented steel cut oats. I'm absolutely ravenous about 30 minutes after eating it - then I eat a larger version of my regular meat based meal. I have been moving to the point where the only grains in my diet are fermented or sprouted, which helps a lot. I do still eat fruits, but not very many. Especially not in the winter. There was a time when fruits were out of season, they were unavailable (with the exception of a few that were dried) and I believe this is an important concept to respect. -Lana On 11/19/05, Lynne Muelle <lynne@...> wrote: > Dear Lana, > > Thanks for replying.
