Advice on Cloth to make cheese and almond milk.

Good Afternoon,

I was wondering what is the best type of material to use to separate my cheese

from the

whey (Apparently cheese cloth is too porous)? I would probably use this same

material when

I make almond milk. Isn't cloth too

fibrous and couldn't that affect the outcome? I would also probably use the

same material to

make a pouch when experimenting with water grains. Someone I know uses

unbleached

linen and someone else I know refuses to use cloth and uses a nylon instead.

Thoughts? I

am planning on taking a trip to the local fabric shop- so any advice on this

matter would be

greatly appreciated.

If you layer the cheesecloth enough, it should work.

Someone had mentioned on this list a long time back, to use an old teeshirt-cut

to size. I tried it and it worked beautifully. Much better than the folded

over cheesecloth.
