It has long been my belief that FMS and CFS are due to malnutrition

and overtoxicity of various things like mercury for one. Take a look

at this site and scroll down to Motor Disorders and Physical

Disturbances in particular and see if some of the other symptoms as

well don't fit the whole picture. Brain fog, gut disturbance, pain,

etc.

Mercury is extremely hard to detoxify through conventional means. My

daughter had mercury and cadmium overload and we tried a zillion

things before finally finding something to get rid of it and that at a

temporary cost of about $100/month for two months.

I've seen these symptoms in many people with FMS, CF, Parkinson's,

Autism and all have gotten better once the mercury is gone.

Hi Sharon,

I agree that mercury is one of the first things that should be tested

(along with other heavy metals) when trying to pin down causes and

treatments for CFS/FM, but a general statement that malnutrition and

overtoxicity ARE the cause of all CFS/FM cases is a bit misleading in my

opinion, and in my case, is just not correct. I have no mercury

overload (although I wouldn't have been surprised if I had), and

malnutrition is not an issue. I have been hyper-careful about nutrition

for myself and my family for my entire career as a mother and wife. We

went organic and whole foods long before most people understood the concept.

I am very happy that you have been able to improve your daughter's

situation however.
