Well, consider the source: if you're eating rabbit, you aren't eating

fish, right?

There are disease that wild rabbits can carry (tularemia, liver

fluke), which is why it's recommended to clean them with gloves on. I

wouldn't worry about the pastured rabbit though. I've eaten rabbit

quite a bit, and am not dead yet.

Thanks for the information. Tularemia was what I was told was bad

news. Wabbit Fevew. I take it you cook the meat until well done, just

in case.
