It's nicer than other bentonites because it's non-swelling. When you put it into water, it immediately mixes in, whereas other forms of bentonite need an hour or so to absorb into the water. Most of us are not using it so much for minerals as for help with gut health (that's not to say that it couldn't be used for minerals, it's just that we aren't using it for that over at GFCFNN).
