I think that the advantages of turbo ovens are:

* Slightly decreased cook times

* Energy efficiency

* Portable

* Frees up the oven

I don't think they speed up cooking too fast or unatural (like a

microwave).

It surely doesn't fit into a raw food diet, but some people still like

to eat their Thanksgiving turkey cooked. ;)

I think Mercola highlights one of the benefits - evenly cooked food.

Again, it's probably what people want, especially when it comes to turkey.

I used to have a turbo oven, but I ended getting rid of it. I found it

easier to use my stove/oven for cooking.

cooking foods, as it causes proteins to gently unwind (more surface

area for digestion) and retains the nutrient integrity of the foods.

against the " principle of slowness " ? Does it not affect the integrity

of the foods that it cooks? And don't we advocate eating raw and rare

meats? Mercola's page says that it cooks more evenly, without burning

the outside and reducing undercooked interiors.
