Went to the Dr today who has advised me that I’m banned from the pool for a few days, you may remember me telling you all I’d fallen on the wooden path at the beach 2 weeks ago, grazed all my knee, got large splinters in it and the top of my foot as well. So all was going nicely till 2 days ago, then my knee came up like a big balloon, well the upshot of it all is that it is badly infected, in fact it is cellulitis..... Bugger Bugger..... I’m now on a Keflex Antibiotics and I’ve got to put Bactroban Ointment and a dressing on it 3 times daily, so Not Happy Jan......... It is not what I would call sore, just downright itchy......... I cannot seem to win, Oh well I can still walk at the gym, so will be there in the morning, then spending the afternoon and night out Swansea way. To the CCB’ers Looking forward to lunch on Saturday, I will make the booking at the Central town Leagues Club in my name BOWER For our new people, we will have a sign made up with Central Coast Bandsters on it, we know it gets a bit intimidating wondering who to look out for. So folks, I hope the antibiotics kick in, I really don’t want to be grounded for too long from the pool, I have to follow up with the Dr next week...
