Guest guest
i took tianeptine for around six weeks but saw no difference at all to my sex drive/function and didnt notice any mood improvements so dropped it I know from research that the drug 'tianeptine' an SSRE (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Enhancer) has profound effects on the glutamate system. It enhances NMDA and AMPA neurotransmission in a indirect way. Maybe if it had an direct effect it would have more lasting effects.. in stead of a temporary boost. > > http://www.life-enhancement.com/article_template.asp?ID=2225 > > Interesting article suggesting there is a genetic component to ssri sexual dysfunction and it has nothing to do with serotonin. Not sure what drugs could possibly target the glutametergic system. Any ideas? >
