i took tianeptine for around six weeks but saw no difference at all to my sex drive/function and didnt notice any mood improvements so dropped it

I know from research that the drug 'tianeptine' an SSRE (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Enhancer) has profound effects on the glutamate system. It enhances NMDA and AMPA neurotransmission in a indirect way. Maybe if it had an direct effect it would have more lasting effects.. in stead of a temporary boost.
