Guest guest
Cheers!!!!!! Torin has started making sounds. He was Implanted with a bionic ear in Dec. He only ever made an 'AH' an Rrrrrrr sound. He is now making 5 different sounds and the Audiologist is so pleased. He sits and sings ans sings LOUDLY. Beth said " Be quiet Torin " and everyone burst out laughing. We are so thrilled and all looks positive for him learning to talk. The botox is on the plan again for his hand and we are about to start the glove on his good hand. He is still a bad sleeper and so we have been off to a sleep specialist. She was highly critical of what has been done so far , just sedating him at night. So now we are waiting for a sleep study which she said should have been done a year ago. Oh well, better late rhan never. When Beth mentioned Botox to her she said " why " Beth said because he is a Hemi. She was stunned, she had not noticed as he crawled around and played. We have come so far we are so lucky, lucky lucky. I wish you all some of our luck. Grandma Carol Torin 20 mth PMG, hemi, Deaf. My incrediable little red head. _____ <http://promos.hotbar.com/promos/promodll.dll?RunPromo & El= & SG= & RAND=58529 & pa rtner=spamblockerutility> Upgrade Your Email - Click here!
